At 425 Tutoring, our vision is to create a supportive learning environment where every student can thrive. We strive to inspire confidence and curiosity in our learners through engaging educational experiences.
The volunteer tutors at 425 Tutoring are not just ready to educate; they are mentors committed to guiding students through their learning journey. We pride ourselves on our tutors' passion and their ability to connect with students.
Every student is unique, and at 425 Tutoring, we understand that one size does not fit all. We personally match our tutors with students based on academic specialty and your child's educational needs.
What began with three Newcastle Elementary School alumni from Washington has now grown into a group of high school students across the country. As high school students, our mission is to keep K-7 students in our communities on track and possibly ahead in their learning experience.
425 Tutoring was founded with one goal in mind: support the elementary school students in our local communities. When the COVID-19 pandemic began, we realized that K-6 students were missing out on essential education, so we built an organization that matches volunteer tutors with local elementary school students to provide free educational services to everyone.
Check out our interview with King 5 news during the pandemic:
All tutor groups have at least two students to foster a positive learning environment while connecting students with peers across the nation and beyond!
Group learning promotes creativity, collaboration, and produces well-rounded learners. Students learn from each other, as well as from the tutor.
425 Tutoring is an equal opportunity program that brings together K-6 students with our growing base of qualified tutors. All tutoring is completely free! We've tutored 1500+ students and have offered 500+ qualified high school tutors mentorship opportunities in the United States and beyond.
425 Tutoring is committed to creating an environment which prohibits discriminatory behavior and provides equal opportunity to all people. 425 Tutoring prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, mental/physical disability, political belief, veteran status, or marital status.
